Pool Factory Overview

Barrier Reef Pools manufacturing facility is the largest and most highly sophisticated plant of its type in Australasia.
Set across 15 acres it consists of two state of the art 11,000sq meter climate controlled manufacturing plants which have the capability of producing 22 pools daily, along with another 800 sq meter facility dedicated to new pool and spa shapes and pool mould maintenance ensuring unrivalled quality control on every single swimming pool manufactured at Barrier Reef Pools.

As well as the manufacturing plants, it boasts a 600 square meter factory which is solely utilized for steel work fabrication, and the upkeep of our specialised trailing units and prime movers, an integral part of its transport network,. In addition is a 280 sq meter facility dedicated to the production of all specialised accessories that may be needed with the pools.

At Barrier Reef Pools there is a commitment to the best manufacturing practices in accordance with Health and Safety and Environmental guidelines. The manufacturing complex has been designed to incorporate a subterranean emission control system which allows airborne residue evident in manufacture to be drawn down into various ducts, thus preventing the escape of even the smallest fibres into the atmosphere or precious surrounding waterways. By eliminating these microscopic particles, the pool moulds remain free from contamination, in turn ensuring the highest quality finish.
The humidity controlled complex also allows for manufacture to be carried out under all weather conditions.
